FAQ

MMR (Matchmaking Rating) is an ELO Rating system used to measure a player's skill level in competitive games. It's commonly used in online multiplayer games to match players with opponents of similar skill levels.

MMR is determined based on a player's performance in matches, such as whether they win or lose, as well as the skill level of the opponents they face. The more skilled the opponents are, the more MMR a player can gain by winning, and the less MMR they can lose by losing.

MMR is used to ensure that matches are fair and competitive, with players of similar skill levels facing off against each other. As a player's MMR increases, they would be matched against increasingly skilled opponents.

Elo rankings are a system used to rank the relative skill levels of players in competitive games. The system was originally developed for chess and has been adapted for other activities like video games, sports, and board games.

The MMR follows AEW's yearly reset and squashes everyone's MMR towards 1500 at the start of the year. The 'alltime' prefix is what their MMR would be if the yearly reset never happened.

Ranks are updated every Sunday (post PPVs)

Matches are usually updated the following day they air
